In recent years, in Italy, some addiction behaviours have assumed significant dimensions also by the power of the strong commercial incentive perceived by the countless advertisements (gambling) and by the political debate on the cannabis legalization. Since the end of the 90’s, Explora has dedicated itself to this area, by supporting the Central State and the Regional Administrations in monitoring the phenomenon and coordinating the National Addiction Observatory, from 2009 to 2014.
